This is the last weekend to catch my Montague Terrace display at the Stories about Stories exhibition in the South Gallery of The Phoenix in Brighton.

Also, the last chance to see the excellent Press and Release, Technology and the Evolution of the Artist’s Book in the main gallery.

As part of the Stories About Stories exhibition at the Phoenix Gallery, Brighton, I’m showing original artwork from Montague Terrace alongside a specially painted life size portrait of land-locked sea captain, Jebediah, from The Shipping Forecast story (see above and below deck).

The exhibition, in the South Gallery at Phoenix, featuring locally based and Phoenix studio artists (me since last July), is running alongside the new Press and Release 2016 exhibition in the main gallery, ‘Technology and the Evolution of the Artist’s Book’, curated by Maddy Rosenberg.

The show is open from 30th April till 12th June and is free!

Phoenix Brighton is at:

10–14 Waterloo Place
Brighton BN2 9NB
East Sussex

Post Edinburgh post

Here’s a link to a short piece I wrote for the Cape Graphic Novels Tumblr page about my recent very enjoyable experience being a guest at this year’s Stripped festival, part of The Edinburgh Book Festival, plus a photo of some shady characters masquerading as 2000AD contributors. That’s water by way, for the re-hydration purposes.
